In International Awards Competition
The Cone Health communications and marketing department recently received several awards from Hermes Creative Awards, which recognizes outstanding work among communications and marketing professionals. Cone Health’s awards were in recognition of its “Exceptional Care. Every Day.” campaign.
“What makes these awards special is that every patient is a Cone Health patient and every doctor, every nurse is a Cone Health doctor or nurse,” says Chuck Wallington, Cone Health senior vice president of marketing and communications. “They told their terrific stories of compassionate care in their own words and in their own ways. Their stories are indicative of the exceptional care we provide our patients every day at Cone Health.”
The campaign won platinum for TV ad campaign and for integrated marketing (print, broadcast and online) campaign, gold in the print advertising campaign, and honorable mention for overall website design (exceptionalcare.com). The top 15 percent of entries received the platinum award and the gold award was received by the top 22 percent of more than 6,000 total entries.
“Exceptional Care. Every Day.” was created by Cone Health and its creative partners: Quixote Group Research, Marketing & PR, the agency of record for Cone Health; Shapiro Walker Design (campaign creative concept and art direction); Plum14 (copy development); and Robert Latorre, Big Fish Films (production and director of photography).
